This class is for intermediate injectors. The focus will be on teaching safe techniques, and pertinent anatomy and assessment of patients. The first patient will be injected by the trainer for demonstration purposes. The dermal filler will be selected based on the patient assessment. Cannula technique will be used to treat the temples. Treating the temples is a great option for supporting the brow and giving the patient a more youthful appearance. Tear trough filler can be done with cannula or needle technique depending on the injector's preference. The benefits of both techniques will be discussed in detail. Tear trough filler is not an option for all patients, and patient selection will be discussed in detail. The model selected for this procedure should not have puffy under eyes, but rather a hallow. Very thin and transparent skin can also be a problem when treating the tear trough. The trainer can demonstrate techniques on the patients as needed. The injectors will bring their own model/models depending on the class size. For more hands-on training it is recommended to attend one-on-one training. Post care will be reviewed with the patients and injectors. Please contact the office for booking and pricing information.
