We love what we do!

Every day we have the opportunity to help our patients look and feel their best - maximizing their natural and authentic beauty...without surgery.

Expertise, Integrity, & Dedication

Skin365 has developed a larger and loyal patient base built on the expertise, integrity, and dedication of our staff. Under the medical leadership of Dr. James Wethe, Board Certified Plastic, Cosmetic, and Reconstructive Surgeon, and our highly-skilled practitioners who are nationally recognized as expert injectors and educators, we are proud to be one of the leaders in non-surgical cosmetic medicine in the Los Angeles area.

What sets us apart

One of the things that sets us apart from others in our field is we don't follow the latest gimmicks or newest fads in aesthetic medicine. All of the treatments we provide have been proven to be effective through clinical data and medical research with 90% or more patients being satisfied with their results. What that means for you- we won't waste your time or money and most importantly, we won't provide a treatment that has not been proven to be safe and effective.

Q&A

What is your approach to the work you do?

Every patient and each case are unique and always get my full attention. My goal is for every patient to feel like they are part of our practice family and to be treated just like family. There are no two patients or procedures that are exactly the same and that makes me excited about my work each and every day. It’s very rewarding to see the smile on a patient’s face after solving their cosmetic or reconstructive concerns.

What’s something others might not know about you?

When I was younger, I was a dedicated and devoted prankster. I went to great lengths to set up some fairly elaborate pranks that today I would never consider doing. No further details will be forthcoming—I plead the fifth!

Where can you be found when you aren’t working?

I’m usually with my family. With four children who live nearby, I am blessed that they involve me in their lives and take advantage of every opportunity I can to spend time with them.

JEANETTE OKA M.D.

UCLA School of Medicine Graduate

Board Certified Anesthesiologist

Q&A

What are the primary services/treatments you provide?

Full face consultations, medical screenings, and advanced medical microneedling (Surgical Microneedling).

What gets you excited about the work you do?

I love educating patients about the importance of total body wellness. I get very excited when I see the difference in a patient’s life when they feel good about themselves. Beauty starts from within. It’s my goal to help patients understand that our “exterior” self develops from a stable and healthy foundation—that diet, quality of sleep, social habits, mindfulness, gratitude, in addition to how we treat our skin, are all important contributors to overall wellness and beauty and we must take an active role in all of them to achieve the best results.

What’s something others might not know about you?

I love sports—especially baseball. I go to almost all Dodger games and keep score to maintain my memory.

Where can you be found when you aren’t working?

I value privacy and rejuvenation time, so I’ll never tell!

Q&A

How did you get involved in aesthetic medicine?

In my teens, I had a passion for stage and theatrical makeup. I received a scholarship for special effects from a school in New York, but my father didn’t want me going so far away. Fast forward through my nursing rotations in ICU, ER, Open Heart Recovery, and as an ER Flight nurse, to my accepting a medical sales position with 3M. Calling on dermatologists and plastic surgeons, led me to my mentor, Dr. James Wethe, and the world of aesthetic medicine where I realized I could combine my passion for special effects artistry and skin rejuvenation. My ability to look at a patient’s face and know what needs to be done—and see the end result in my mind’s eye before I even start—I believe is a rare gift and my best asset.

What is your approach to the work you do?

I have a strong sense of service, of wanting to help people feel better, live better and look better. I truly listen to my patients, empathize, and provide information about aesthetic treatments in a way they will understand. I’m incredibly transparent about the good, the bad, and the ugly in the industry and NEVER suggest treatments that do not have strong evidence-based studies—which means no gimmicks or fads. Safe beauty is a must! When it comes to injectables, my approach is “less is more”—natural not overdone. I’m not only a practitioner but a patient. I’ve had it all—fillers, Botox, laser resurfacing, microneedling, dermaplaning, peels, even a little cosmetic surgery—which allows me to share my own experiences with my patients first hand. We all deserve the right to look better and feel better about ourselves. It’s not about vanity-it’s about taking care of ourselves now, so we feel good about the way we look when we are in our 80’s and beyond. We are worth it!

Where can you be found when you aren’t working?

Q&A

Why did you get into aesthetic medicine?

Injectable medicine is an art and passion for me. I love connecting with patients and helping them look and feel amazing. I grew up loving everything beauty related.   Practicing aesthetic medicine combines art, beauty and science—all of which I am passionate about.

What do you like best about the work you do?

I really enjoy the consultations and full facial assessments I do with my patients. It allows us to discuss their aesthetic goals together and create a treatment plan that is customized specifically for them. I will not perform a procedure on a patient unless I think it will look beautiful. Patient safety and outstanding results are always my priority. I love making people feel beautiful. Seeing a big smile on a patient when they leave the office makes me very happy.

What do you do for fun?

When I’m not working, I love beach combing for sea glass and shells. My favorite beach is Monterey Bay.  I think I was born a mermaid.

What do you like best about the work you do?

I really do get excited about coming to work. I enjoy interacting with my patients and getting to know them. I like to educate them on the products and procedures that will best address their concerns and, ultimately, help improve their skin.

Spending time with family & friends and organizing (not sure if that qualifies as “fun”).

Q&A

How did you get started in the aesthetic industry?

I came to New York City from Nagoya, Japan in 1997 and went straight into beauty college—without speaking English. At the time it was a survival decision rather than a career decision. But here I am 20 years later, still in the industry and loving it!

What do you like best about the work you do?

I have the opportunity to meet interesting people all of the time and get to know them even better through their skin. There is great satisfaction in creating a skin care regimen that helps a patient improve not only their skin but the confidence they have in themselves.

What’s something others might not know about you?

I am currently working on my prerequisites to get into a nursing program which I believe will enrich my aesthetic career.

What are you personally most passionate about?

My two daughters who are 12 and 14. It can be challenging juggling a career, school, and family but I believe in embracing life every day!
